Then join WNYIL’s Taking Control Advisory Board.

Do you have questions about the Taking Control program that you need answers to? Or do you just want to stay current with what is happening with the State and County regarding our program? Joining the Advisory Board will get you the information you want.

June 22, 2021 will be our next meeting at 2:00 pm. We meet every other month on the third Tuesday of the month through a Zoom meeting. A Zoom meeting link will be provided to you before the meeting. Just click on the link and you will be entered into the meeting. If you do not have access to a computer, you can call in to participate. All Consumers, Directing Parties, and Personal Assistants are welcome to attend.

As Taking Control is expanding across New York State, now is an exciting time to see what is currently going on-or you may just have a simple question you want answered. Our Administrative staff from all the Counties that we are currently located in are present for these meetings if you want to ask something specific. If you want a specific item added to the next Advisory Board meeting agenda, please notify us by June 8, 2021 so we can put it into the agenda and seek an answer for you from the appropriate staff.
